Color: Use These Hues for an Astoundingly Beautiful Brand

Let’s talk color! There is no other element that can so powerfully and immediately affect the way that clients feel about your brand. Color is the medium through which you can relay the atmosphere and “vibe” of your brand most readily.

Choose Brand Colors Wisely

Do you want your client to feel calm and sheltered when they interact with your brand? Use Blue!

Do you want people to be excited and alert when they think of your work? Consider Orange.

Color is an extremely intuitive and powerful tool. When used correctly it can set you up to attract the clients who are right for you. When used incorrectly it can make first impressions confusing and uncertain. Without some contemplation on your color palette, you open yourself up to misunderstandings and unrealistic expectations.

It sounds dire, but have no fear! With guidance, use of your intuition, and careful thought you’ll find a color palette that complements your brand beautifully!

Common Colors for Healers and Healthcare

Using the tools we share below, it’s easy to see that green and blue are common colors in the medical and healthcare industries. This makes tons of sense, as blue is a calm, clean, soothing color that promotes rest and relaxation. Meanwhile green is a fresh color that suggests vitality and good health.

These are great options to use for your up-and-coming healing brand but don’t be afraid to move out of the box. The right combination of colors for your unique message and mission might be something unexpected.

Cool Color Tools

Here are some tools to get you started:

Fast Company draws on psychology and shares WebPageFX’s infographic about how humans associate colors with ideas and feelings. They also provide samples of well-known brands that use each color family in their logo. Take a look here: What Your Logo Says About Your Company Infographic

The fine folks at Column Five have created a really excellent infographic to sort popular colors by industry. They give direct advice on which colors to embrace, or steer clear of depending on your message and mission. Take a look here: True Colors Infographic

Once you’re ready to move into the creative stage, use Coolors.co to start applying what you learned. Coolors.co is an online-color palette generator. They easily help you sort through the thousands of color options out there to create an attractive palette for your brand. We use the Coolors Generator daily in our branding practice, and recommend it highly. Check it out here:  https://coolors.co/

Have fun!
