Post Falls deserves a pharmacy that’s local, easy to get to, and actually gives a darn — and that’s exactly what we’re about. Tamarack Pharmacy is owned by two Northwest pharmacists who get it – that’s why when you walk through our doors, you’ll get honest, old-fashioned service. We treat you right, work hard to get you what you need, and make it a point to remember you the next time you stop in.

HERE TO STAY

We’ve opened up shop right inside Super 1 — a spot that makes sense for busy people. We’re putting together a solid lineup of services so you won’t have to drive all over town or stand around in long lines just to get your prescriptions filled or to talk with a pharmacist.

By joining forces with other locally run pharmacies in the Cascadia Pharmacy Group, we’ve got the buying power to compete with the big chains — without selling out. We’re independent, rooted, and here for the long haul.

THE TEAM

Erik Nelson

Pharmacist, Owner

Erik grew up in Spokane and spent his summers just over the hill at Spirit Lake with his grandmother. He runs three successful pharmacies in the area: Koru Pharmacy, Sixth Avenue Pharmacy, and Suncrest Pharmacy.
Erik’s all about helping everyday people take charge of their health and supporting the causes that matter up here. When he’s not behind the counter, you’ll find him knee-deep in a home project — fixing, building, or remodeling something with Cougs football on in the background.

    Tyler Young

    Pharmacist, Owner

    Tyler was raised in the small farming town of Oakesdale, Washington — the kind of place where you learn the value of a tight-knit community. He earned his Biology degree from WSU then stuck with the Cougs and graduated in 2013 with his Doctorate of Pharmacy.
    Tyler and his wife, Amy are blessed with four daughters and they own another successful pharmacy over in Washington. When he’s not at the counter, you’ll likely find Tyler supporting one of his daughters at dance or cheer practice.

      Megan Baker

      Pharmacist in Charge

      Megan’s been a pharmacist since 2020, after earning her degree from Washington State University’s College of Pharmacy. She’s proud to work in an independent pharmacy where she can actually take the time to know her patients—and their families—by name.
      Megan’s roots run deep in the Post Falls area – her dad was raised here and is an alum of Lakeland High. When she’s not at the pharmacy, you’ll probably find her outside – hunting, fishing, or digging in the garden.
