Dr. McKenzie Mescon
Dr. Mescon and her team help active, self-aware people overcome debilitating symptoms and take ownership of their health. Her practice specializes in fatigue, thyroid disorders, hormone imbalances (in both men and women), digestive problems, headaches and migraines, stress and anxiety and skin issues.
Her practice blends naturopathic and functional medicine – to create an approach that considers the whole patient, emphasizes prevention, addresses the root cause of disease, and supports the self-healing process.
Dr. Mackie’s Hours:
Mon, Tues, Thurs: 9:00 – 4:00
Wed: 9:00 – 12:00
Laine Gallegos has been in practice since 2014 in Colorado and Montana. Laine follows the latest acupuncture research and has in-depth training in women’s health, Chinese herbal medicine, classical Chinese medicine, integrative fertility, and herbalism.
While attentive to the modern benefits and applications of acupuncture, Laine’s clinic bows to classical lineages of Chinese medicine. Following the lines of thought in this 3,000-year-old medicine, Laine honors the body as a landscape, nature’s rhythms, and the patient’s alignment with their own deep intention.
Mon, Tues, Thurs: 9:00 – 3:00
Wed: 12:00 – 3:00
Shelby Whitmore, LMT
Shelby has been in practice as a massage therapist for 14 years. She’s been a massage therapist in many contexts, including traveling with the U.S. Paranordic Ski Team athletes.
Her practice works with athletes of all kinds. Shelby’s is especially adept at assisting those with injuries as they re-learn to do what they love. For all her clients, her goal is to add longevity and ease to athletic activities. Along with massage, she’ll often suggest exercises and stretches for clients to use outside of the clinic to expand the benefits of their treatment.
Tues: 9:30 – 3:00
Wed, Thurs: 12:00 – 6:00
Fri: 9:00 – 12:00
Heidi Ransom, LMT
Movement Trainer & Massage Therapist
Through one-on-one, closely guided movement classes, Heidi teaches her clients to address balance issues or pain in an injury-attentive manner.
Through her experience as a structural bodyworker and movement worker, Heidi can identify dysfunctional movement and holding patterns in the body. Once dysfunctional patterns are identified, she and her client will address them through movement and strength work, and through massage therapy. Her goal is to help clients gain confidence and feel better long-term, without the need of repeated massage intervention.

About Sparrow House
The founders of Sparrow, Heidi, Laine, Shelby, and Mackie, came together to create a shared space for doing their work that would provide the support of community while also allowing for their individual growth. What was born out of that vision is The Sparrow House at 417 West Mendenhall St in downtown Bozeman, Montana. Sparrow is a space where experienced and licensed practitioners come together to share resources and facilitate healing for our community, and beyond. The four founding members of Sparrow have been joined by several other practitioners who are also recognized for their skill, consistency, and grounded joy. While they all share space under one roof, most run their our own businesses independently. If you have any questions about how to schedule with your provider, or about how it all works, just ask!
Sparrow got her name because the bird represents power, creativity, community, simplicity and recognizing self-worth. We strive to embody these things ourselves, and to help our patients do so, too. The Sparrow House is a nest of good medicine and community. We know that deep healing happens in community, and that Sparrows sing all day long and work together. Our mission is to provide a community space for the delivery of holistic healthcare and wellness to Bozeman and beyond. We aim to nurture an inclusive space that is safe, warm, and intentional, and welcomes individuals from all walks of life. We show up whole-heartedly for our patients and clients, and we love what we do.
The practitioners at Sparrow House would be honored to help you back to health.
