The IFIOC team had built a membership site some years before but they were worried they weren’t getting as much traction as they wanted. Their content had grown so quickly that the site navigation was no longer intuitive. We worked with the IFIOC team to revamp their site according to a Netflix style layout to make their content more findable, attractive, and intuitive.
IFIOC offers teaching and coaching in Motivational Interviewing and they’d built up their membership content multiple years. Bcause they now had so much content, the former layout of their membership site became unwieldy. Content became hard to find and their viewers couldn’t easily make sense of how to access all of their hundreds and hundreds of pieces of content.
We worked with the IFIOC team and took inspiration from popular video streaming sites like Netflix to make their content more visible. We deeply and thoroughly organized each and every piece of content by tags and categories. We then set up this content in scrollable sliders.
Our goal was to design the website layout to be as much like Netflix or YouTube as possible, so that their users would be intuitively familiar with how they could search and filter on this kind of site.
Immediate return on investment
Once we had launched the refreshed website, IFIOC almost immediately was rewarded a corporate contract for employee access to this membership site. The contract was for thousands of dollars and showed an immediate return on their investment.
