Hunting Licenses

Hedden’s Pharmacy offers standard licenses for deer, elk, bear, cougar, and small game. Some species need special tags, and certain hunts require permits from a lottery. We don’t help with those special cases, and we encourage you to apply ahead of time. For everything else, we can fix you up quickly right here in store. The price for these licenses varies depending on the type of game you’re hunting and whether you’re a Washington State resident.

Fishing Licenses

We’ve got licenses for freshwater, saltwater, and combo options. If you’re after salmon or steelhead, you’ll need a free catch record card along with your license. We can help you get a catch card that you’ll fill out and send back to WDFW. The price for these licenses varies depending on the type of fishing you’re planning (saltwater or fresh), whether you’d like additional endorsements, and whether you’re a Washington State resident.

Discover Passes

In Washington State, a Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to state parks, state-managed recreation areas, and state wildlife areas. It covers over 100 state parks and lands managed by the DNR and WDFW. At time of writing, the Annual Pass costs $35, is valid for one year, and can be used for two vehicles (one at a time). A One-Day Pass costs $11.50 and is valid for the day of purchase. We can get you set up with either type of pass right here at Hedden’s Pharmacy.
